Poison ivy with budding flowers, in Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, near Harrison St. crossing. Princeton, New Jersey
Album 582: Princeton - Kingston, New Jersey, May 1 - 5, 2007
The image depicts a branch of poison ivy plants with reddish leaves and small flower buds beginning to emerge from the stem. The plant is growing from a brown stalk which has been cut off at the top right corner of the image. Five red-veined leaves are visible, with two more partially seen in the background. The leaves have five pointed lobes, with the central lobe being larger than the others.
The background is dark green and blurry, suggesting that it is foliage from other plants. A few small white flower buds can be seen emerging on a smaller brown stalk near the bottom of the main stem.
The overall atmosphere suggests a spring or early summer day in a wooded area, with the poison ivy plant thriving in its natural habitat.
Please note: Poison ivy contains an oil called urushiol that causes severe skin irritation and rashes in most people who come into contact with it. It is best to avoid touching or handling this plant. – AI vision

. – Chinese translation
