Sprucecone cap mushroom (Strobilurus esculentus) taken from area south from Oselki, 8 miles north from St.Petersburg. Russia
Album 2016: Toksovo, Russia, April 5, 2017
The image shows a close-up of a single Sprucecone cap mushroom growing on top of a pile of forest debris.
The mushroom has a light brown cap with a flat top and is attached to a long, white stem that extends down into the debris below. The background of the image is dark, but it appears to be taken in a forest or wooded area, as evidenced by the presence of twigs and leaves visible through the transparent portion of the mushroom's cap. – AI vision
Russian Description
– Russian translation
