Album 2448: College Station - Huntsville, Texas, February 12 - 17, 2019
The image presents a close-up view of a Suillus hirtellus bolete mushroom growing on the ground amidst dry grasses and leaves. The cap is tan-brown with darker brown spots, featuring a slightly concave shape and a small tear at its top edge. A thin stem connects the cap to the white base, which appears to be covered in dirt.
In the background, dry grasses and leaves are visible, while the overall atmosphere suggests that the photograph was taken during late winter or early spring due to the presence of dead vegetation on the ground and the lack of greenery. – AI vision
