Album 3117: Lake Somerville - College Station, Texas, March 12 - 14, 2022
The image displays a close-up view of a young shoot of milkweed growing on the forest floor in Lick Creek Park, Texas. The plant has six broad leaves that are light green with reddish veins and are arranged in an alternating pattern around the stem. The leaves are shaped like oval teardrops.
In the background, there is some brown leaf litter and smaller plants, but they are not clearly visible due to the focus on the central milkweed shoot. The overall atmosphere of the image suggests a springtime scene in a forest setting, with new growth emerging from the ground. – AI vision
