Young oak leaves on Caney Creek Trail (Little Lake Creek Loop Trail) in Sam Houston National Forest north from Montgomery. Texas
Album 3122: College Station - Sam Houston Forest, Texas, March 29 - 31, 2022
The image features a close-up of two young oak leaves and their stems against a dark background.
The leaves are positioned on either side of the center of the image, facing away from each other. They display a warm yellow-brown hue with green veins running through them. The edges of the leaves are fuzzy and jagged, featuring pointed lobes that curve inward toward the stem.
In the top-right corner, part of another leaf is visible on the right side of the image.
The background of the photograph is dark and blurry, indicating a forest or wooded area. This suggests that the photo was taken in an outdoor setting with trees surrounding the leaves. The overall context implies that the image was captured during springtime, given the young growth of the oak leaves.
– Spanish translation
