Stemless evening primrose (Oenothera triloba) with other plant on gravel of Ferry Rd. in Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site. Washington, Texas
Album 3340: Washington-on-the-Brazos, Texas, February 11, 2023
The image features a close-up photograph of two plants growing out of the ground on top of small rocks and pebbles. The larger plant has many green leaves that grow off of its center. Each leaf is shaped like an upside-down triangle with serrated edges. Some of these leaves are red along their edges.
On the left side of the image, there is a smaller version of this same plant growing out of the gravel. However, it only has a few leaves and appears to be much younger than its larger counterpart.
The background of the image consists solely of small rocks and pebbles that cover the ground.

– Spanish translation
