Some small thistle rosette under oaks on a trailway near Birch Creek Unit of Somerville Lake State Park. Texas
Album 3343: College Station, Texas, February 15, 2023
The image depicts a small plant with large green leaves and white veins, growing in a forest floor setting. The plant has a rosette shape, with multiple leaves radiating from a central point. Each leaf is shaped like a maple leaf but has more serrations along its edges. Its bright-green color stands out against the dry brown leaves on the ground.
The background of the image shows the forest floor, which appears to be covered in dead leaves and twigs. The overall atmosphere suggests that the photo was taken during the winter season when deciduous trees have lost their foliage. – AI vision
